The Rolex Submariner 116610V "Hulk", introduced in 1953, was the first divers’ watch capable of withstanding depths of 100 meters. In 2010, Rolex revolutionized the Submariner with the introduction of Cerachrom bezels. The updated reference 116610LV distinguishes itself from the earlier 16610V “Kermit” model, which had a green aluminum bezel and black dial, by featuring a matching green dial paired with the green ceramic bezel. This unified green aesthetic and the larger case earned it the nickname "Hulk."
